When you meet Psonya, ask her to tell you the fried chicken story. When she does, you’ll know how and why she became a lawyer over twenty years ago. A native of Mississippi and now a proud Memphian, Psonya practices family law in Mississippi and in Tennessee.
Immediately prior to arriving in Memphis, Psonya served as a Staff Attorney to the nine Justices on the Mississippi Supreme Court from 2005 – 2012. After being married, she left that opportunity for a new life in Memphis. Since then, Psonya has exclusively represented clients in all areas of divorce litigation, child custody proceedings, child support, and all family law matters; and in mediation of contested divorces in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Recognizing that this is one of the most important and perhaps devastating times for her clients, Psonya’s goal is to provide options for her clients and their families, formulate a plan for success, and execute it flawlessly.
Outside of the courtroom, Psonya is an avid baseball fan whose all-time favorite player is her son. Psonya is married to Ret. Senior Chief Timothy Hackett and attends The Life Church, Memphis.
